Jozac is an independent design studio based in Nesodden, Norway.
In every design work there is a connection between the viewer and the message, a kind of visual code, something abstract that has to be perceived.
The concept behind Jozac’s identity is the code.
Applying a code which reads only the vertical oriented lines of the typo, results in a cryptic symbol for the word Jozac.
The sign must not necessary be legible but it must involve interaction to read through the code.
The visual inspiration comes from the morse code, which is exclusively made of short and long lines.
